Stowe is a world famous independent school set in 750 acres of Buckinghamshire countryside.
WSi were commissioned by the schools preferred architect to propose new concept signage that would reflect the tradition and heritage while encompassing modularity and incorporating latest Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) best practice. We began by undertaking a comprehensive survey and audit of existing signs. This enabled us to produce a hierarchy of sign types that complemented the built environment. In due course, these were approved by the school governors and WSi undertook a staged fit out of new signs.
